The Washington Chamber of Commerce is reminding you about the importance of shopping locally this holiday season.  Tim Coffey with the Chamber says that shopping locally means more money stays in the community.

He says for every dollar spent, helps the local economy by four to five dollars.

Coffey notes shopping locally helps to save extra expenses such as gas and eating out when you factor in driving to an out of town location.
