High school students are needed to produce a video highlighting the importance of renewable fuels.  Grant Menke with the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association Biofuels Manager says there was a great response from the “Fuel the Future” contest last year so bringing it back again for this year was an easy decision.

He says Iowa’s high school students are very smart, creative and have a good grasp on today’s technology.

Menke says the videos need to be no longer than three minutes in length and need to showcase the importance and benefits of renewable fuels to local communities, Iowa and the nation.

Those currently attending high school are eligible in this contest.  The top three winners will receive prizes ranging from $400 to $1000.  All entries must be received by January 13th of next year.  To learn more, look here.
