Washington County Engineer David Patterson has informed the Board of Supervisors that he is leaving his position early next year.  Patterson who has been with the County for 12 years is leaving his post to work with his fellowship of churches on projects in the United States and Brazil.

He says this will be over the next six to eight months.  Each member of the Supervisors expressed their thanks for Patterson’s years of service.

Patterson’s last day with Washington County will be January 13th of next year.
