The Washington County Historical Society is presenting a program this and next weekend showcasing the Conger House in Washington.  Mary Levy with the Historical Society says when visitors come to the house they will see many decorated Christmas trees as well one tree decorated with ornaments from the last descendents of the Congers to live in the house that date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The house which was first opened as a museum in 1973 has been under the responsibility of the Historical Society since 1989.  Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under.

The open house is happening today and tomorrow as well as next Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
