The Washington County Compensation Board will hold their first meeting tomorrow night. Washington County Auditor Bill Fredrick says the purpose of this meeting is to determine the salary levels for elected County officials.

He says the Compensation Board is directed by the Iowa Code to recommend proposed salary ceilings each fiscal year for the Board of Supervisors, Sheriff, Auditor, Treasurer, Recorder and Attorney.

The Board will meet tomorrow evening at 6:30 in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in the Washington County Courthouse
