Mid-Prairie Schools have adopted an innovative calendar for next year. School districts are usually required to have 180 Student school days, but schools can have less if they apply for an innovative calendar with the state. Mark Schneider, Mid-Prairie Superintendent, says Mid-Prairie Schools chose to have less for next year.  They will have 178 student school days and 2 days for professional development. They decided this after a public hearing at their meeting on Monday.
