The Washington County Extension is offering one last opportunity this year for farmers to attend a private pesticide applicator training locally.  Nancy Adrian with the Washington County Extension says this class is for farmers to get training needed to renew their chemical licenses.  She says this training is for those who spray their fields.

Adrian says applicators who want to recertify by training and not through the exam must take a continuing instruction course each year.

She adds the class will be offered for the last time this year on December 19th from 1:30 to 4:00 pm at a cost of $20.  For more information, contact the Washington County Extension.
