This weekend is the last chance to attend the Washington County Historical Society’s presentation of a program showcasing the Conger House in Washington.  Mary Levy with the Historical Society says visitors to the house will see many decorated Christmas trees as well one tree decorated with ornaments from the last descendents of the Congers that lived in the house.

These ornaments date back to the late 1800s and early 1900s.  The house was first opened as a museum in 1973 and has been under the responsibility of the Historical Society since 1989.

The tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under.  The open house is happening today and tomorrow from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
