The Washington Public Library has just received some newly refurbished computers for library patrons to use.  Debbie Stanton, Library Director says the library was able to obtain six computers from The React Center in Hiawatha.  The React Center takes in old computers from bigger corporations to distribute to smaller non-profit organizations for free.

Stanton says their old patron access computers could not handle the needs of their upgraded card catalog system which prompted the need for new PCs.  She says the library has installed four of the six computers and adds the new computers are working without any problems.
