The Marion Avenue Baptist Church is presenting their 38th Annual Christmas Play this weekend.  Pastor Joe Brown says when this play first started it was a small play but has grown into a theatrical production using equipment like what is found on Broadway in terms of lighting and special effects.  There will be over 150 people and numerous live animals in the play including a camel.

Pastor Brown notes there will also be reindeer in front of the church for tomorrow’s performances.  He adds everyone started preparing for the play the first week of November.

Pastor Brown says seating is on a first-come, first‑serve basis.  The free performances are at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 5:00 pm tomorrow and at 10:30 am on Sunday.  For more information about the live Christmas play, contact Marion Avenue Baptist Church.
