A presidential candidate who is struggling in the polls is hoping to jumpstart his campaign by conducting a barnstorming tour of the state later this month.  Texas Governor Rick Perry is visiting all parts of the state and has already started his tour in the western part of the state.  Perry’s staff has informed KCII News that he will be visiting both Mt. Pleasant and Washington in the coming weeks.

Governor Perry will be conducting a Meet and Greet in Mt. Pleasant next Wednesday and he will be in Washington on Thursday, December 29th.

Governor Perry will be in Mt. Pleasant for a Meet and Greet, Wednesday, December 21st at 4:15 pm, at De Brito Baking Bistro, 101 West Monroe Street.  He will be in Washington for a Meet and Greet, Thursday, December 29th at 10:00 am at the Coffee Corner, 125 West Washington Street.
