Two presidential candidates made stops in Washington yesterday in preparation for the Iowa Caucuses. Texas Congressman Ron Paul held a town hall meeting to a standing‑room only crowd at the Washington Library and talked about the challenges facing America.
Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann visited with supporters at Frontier Restaurant as part of her 99 county tour of the state. She says she was thrilled to be in Washington and the best way to campaign is person to person and is the one who can beat President Barack Obama. Bachmann traveled to Tipton and Cedar Rapids after she left Washington.
