Mt. Pleasant, IA – The Washing boys and girls bowling teams made some improvements over the weekend at the Iris Bowling Center in Mt. Pleasant.

The Girls had just five eligible so despite not being able to drop the two low games, still made considerable improvements in round one gaining 128 pins while adding 17 in the Baker Games. Individually, senior Blair Farris improved by more than 80 pins, from 253 to 334.

The boys made improvements in all scoring, with first round totals climbing to 1273, up from 1191 pins last week, and posted slight improvements in Baker games as well. Overall, the team improved by 105 pins on the weekend. The teams bowl against Keokuk this weekend.
