These charges come after Lowe agreed that from 2006 to July of last year he along with 56 year old David Carl Kindred of Cedar Rapids conspired to manufacture and distribute at least 50 grams of pure methamphetamine, and at least 500 grams of a mixture and substance containing methamphetamine.

Following this sentence, Lowe will have to serve five years of supervised release and pay $100 to the Crime Victim’s Fund.  He will have to pay an additional restitution of over $1300 as well.

The case was investigated by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the Washington Police Department, Mt. Pleasant Police Department, the Washington/Louisa County Drug Task Force and the Iowa Division of Narcotics.

The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Iowa.
