A local author held a book reading at the Washington Public Library last night.  Lloyd Holm wrote a children’s picture and chapter book titled Mr. Fox and Mr. Raccoon Go to Bethlehem.  Dr. Holm says the idea for the characters came from when he saw a fox while on vacation with his granddaughters and decided to add the raccoon later.

The concept for the story he wrote came about because it was close to Christmas.  The reading took place in the Nicola-Stoufer Room of the Washington Public Library and after the reading, copies of the book were available to be purchased and autographed.
