Washington, IA – Wrestling season gets back underway starting Tuesday for a few of the eight area teams. The initial Iowa High School Wrestling Coaches Association Dual Team Rankings recently released by the IWOCA are posted below as well. Here is how the eight area teams wound up looking entering winter break.
Columbus Community
-2-3 record after losing last two to L&M and Mediapolis heading to winter break
-opens January Tuesday at Sigourney duels where they’ll also see Iowa Valley and Moravia
-square off against Muscatine and New London on Thursday
-Jesus Amigon (113) and Ray Quiroz (106) both 5-0

-Kevin Anderson (145) posted record of 10-4
-square off against Lone Tree and West Branch before the Van Buren Invitational the following Saturday
