According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the car of 45 year old Sharon Ruth Hopf of Crawfordsville was found at an abandoned home located just outside of Wright City, Missouri, about 30 miles west of St. Louis.  The surrounding area near the location of Hopf’s car was searched, but Sharon was not located.  Law enforcement agencies from both Iowa and Missouri continue to investigate the disappearance.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sharon Hopf or information related to her disappearance are asked to contact either the Washington County Sheriff at 319-653-2107 or the Warren County, Missouri Sheriff’s Office at 636-456-7088.
