The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the annual update from Paws & More Animal Shelter as part of their meeting yesterday morning.  Amber Talbot from Paws & More also requested services for funding.  She said they are hoping for the same level of funding that has been given in the past.  Supervisor Jim Miksch said they will take their request into consideration during the upcoming budget process.

The Supervisors also acknowledged the construction of a 960-animal feeding operation unit at 2850 290th Street.

The quarterly report from the Washington County Recorder was presented and she says her office received just under $100,000 in revenue last quarter.

The semi-annual state of accounts by funds from the Washington County Treasurer and Auditor was presented as well.  To see the presentation from County Treasurer Jeff Garrett, look here.
