An auto accident in Washington about 7:15 this morning has sent the driver to the hospital.  Jim Williams, 2nd Assistant Chief and Team Leader with the Washington Fire Department says the male driver of the vehicle lost control and landed between a house and a tree at 428 East Washington Street.

The driver, Ryan Lang of Fairfield had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life and spreaders because of the driver’s door being jammed from hitting the tree.  Williams says the driver was transported by Washington County Ambulance to Washington County Hospital for treatment.

The Washington Police Department cited Lang for driving under revocation and failure to maintain control.  Others responding to the scene were the Washington Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Washington County Rescue.
