An accident earlier this week has injured the driver.  According to the Iowa State Patrol,  a pickup truck pulling a trailer driven by 30 year old Shawn Tolar of Cadet, Missouri lost control on northbound Highway 218 near mile marker 64 on about 1:35 Tuesday afternoon.

The road was ice covered causing Tolar’s vehicle to enter the median, roll and land on its side.  Tolar was not injured and both the truck and trailer are considered a total loss.
