The Kalona Chamber of Commerce is having a garage sale today. They are asking for donations to be made to the sale. Katie Karnes, the organizer of the garage sale, says it’s a good time to get rid of things after the holidays. She says a lot of people donate items if they received a newer one over the holidays. They are also looking for volunteers to help with the cash register, and to help clean up afterward. The garage sale is today and tomorrow from 10 am to 2 pm.
