The Washington county Sheriff’s Office is reporting that Sharon Hopf of Crawfordsville has been located in Texas and is safe with her family.
About 8:00 this morning, the Sheriff was notified by Hopf’s family that Hopf was located at a business in Fort Worth and that she seemed to be disoriented. Hopf’s brother who lives in the Dallas area drove to the business and located her.
Also, the Fort Worth Police Department responded and confirmed that Hopf had been found, did not need medical attention and was released to the care of her family.
The Washington County Sheriff’s office along with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation would like to thank the Hopf family, volunteers and multiple law enforcement agencies from Iowa, Missouri and Texas in assisting with the Missing Person’s investigation.
KCII will continue to bring any more information with this story as it becomes official.
