Another record high temperature has been set for today.  The warm weather that has been over southeast Iowa for the last couple of days from the plains states moved to the east slower than expected causing the temperature to surpass the old record of 56 in 1961.

The warmer weather was also caused by a lack of snow cover which allows the milder air to not moderate.  You can also listen to KCII for the current weather conditions first, fast and accurately.

The forecast is calling for cooler conditions but still warmer than normal temps over the weekend and into next week.
