A second search has ended for Sharon Ruth Hopf of Crawfordsville according to Warren County, Missouri Sheriff Kevin Harrison.  He says over 30 searchers along with canine units and cadaver dogs from surrounding law enforcement and fire departments were mobilized as an effort to retrace their work from the weekend.

This was a way to conduct a second thorough search and make certain they have exhausted every effort and resource available. Sheriff Harrison tells KCII News that without new information, continuing the investigation will be difficult.

Washington County Sheriff Jerry Dunbar is also dispelling rumors that Hopf was forced to take someone to St. Louis.  He adds her cell phone was recovered from her vehicle and she does not carry a purse, it remained at her residence.

Dunbar says at this time there are no signs of foul play, but it is not being ruled out.  KCII will continue to monitor this story and will bring you updates as they become official.
