Washington, IA – Washington’s Blair Farris and MacKenzie Adrian signed their letters of intent Monday to play softball at Iowa Central next fall.  Iowa Central head coach Josh Sandin is happy to keep the talent flowing in from Washington.

“Blair and MacKenzie both love to play the game, I think their going to bring a lot to us.  We’ve had a great connection with Washington softball over the years; Brittany Stout came four years ago, Lucy Libe is just finishing her sophomore year.  These two (Farris and MacKenzie) are going to take us into our sixth consecutive year with Washington players on our team.  They’re both going to fight for playing time.  MacKenzie with her speed is a game changer and Blair can play a lot of different positions.”

In addition to playing softball for the Tritons, Farris will also be a member of the school’s inaugural bowling team while Adrian will join the swimming team.  Both Farris and Adrian, along with Demon head softball coach Angie Shrader, will be joining us on the PM Sports Page Wednesday at 6pm on KCII radio.
