Wayland, IA – There was quite a bit of wrestling going on Saturday, including the Waco Invitational where 13 teams competed, with Mt. Pleasant leaving as the champion with 205.5 points on the day. Grant McPheron took first at 106 pounds and Sawyer Farris finished in the top spot as well at 120 to lead the way for New London/WMU who finished in seventh with 110 points. The host Warriors posted 49 points for an 11th place finish. Waco’s Dylon Evans was the lone player to finish in the top three, a third-place finish at 138 pounds. (full results below)
