Books are available for pick up from the Washington Public Library for those wishing to take part in a book discussion next month as part of the All Iowa Reads program.  Library Director Debbie Stanton says this year’s book titled Strength in What Remains by Tracy Kidder is a novel about a young doctor from Burundi in Africa who survives genocide and ends up homeless in America.

She says they have the books in regular print, large print and as an audio CD.  Stanton notes the library will also be hosting a discussion about the book on March 27th in the second floor reading room as well.  To learn more about the All Iowa Reads program, look here.
