The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard briefings from two groups as part of their meeting yesterday.
A preparedness plan briefing from Chrystal Woller at Washington County Public Health was presented. She spoke about the preparedness plan that was first started in 2002. Woller adds they have different plans in place to handle emergencies.
A briefing was also shared from Tim Coffey who was representing the Washington County COAD. He talked about how COAD works and the importance of their jobs after an emergency.
The Supervisors also acknowledged three animal confinement operation construction sites:
