The Washington Public Library is hosting a book discussion next month as part of the All Iowa Reads program.

Library Director Debbie Stanton says each year, this program chooses a book that would have a good potential for discussion.

Stanton adds this is an effort to get people to discuss literature. She says this year’s book titled Strength in What Remains by Tracy Kidder is a novel about a young doctor from Burundi in Africa who survives genocide and ends up homeless in America.

Stanton says the book discussion will be held at 7:00 pm in the second floor reading room of the Washington Public Library.  To find out more, contact the Washington Public Library.
