A large group of people gathered to hear about the future growth of Washington last night.  [simage=2943,400,n,center]

Representatives from RDG Planning and Design gave a presentation about the Washington Comprehensive Plan.  This plan update which was started in October showed different ways of improving the city over the next 20 years.

Some of the plans showed locating the Wellness Park in the southwest part of town and building trails and road extensions to connect it to other parts of town.  The plans also include building more sidewalks and business parks to entice more growth into the community.

RDG will present all the plans to the city when completed and the city will decide what projects they would like to do first.
