As previously reported by KCII, the city of Kalona was considering the purchase of the B4 building, which houses Grandma’s Corner Shop, to turn into a well defined public space. The City Council voted to purchase the building at a cost of $157,500. There will be a public hearing on whether or not to go through with the purchase on March 5th.
