The Keota City Council met on Monday with representatives from Lagos Acres, a golf course in town, and came to an agreement over some pool expenses. City Clerk Niki Osweiler tells us that the city has agreed to fix the pool lights in exchange for left over chemicals from the previous year. Originally, Lagos Acres requested that the remaining chemicals be purchased back by the city, but after a discussion with the mayor and city council, a new agreement was made. The city now will not have to pay for the chemicals in exchange for fixing the pool lights.
