New medical technology is coming to Washington County Hospital and Clinics.  Kathleen Brinnning with WCHC says they are getting ready to install a new MRI machine later this year.  Brinnning says the Symphony 1.5T will bring the Radiology Department “an ultra-high machine that will provide excellent image quality, short examinations, and increased departmental workflow.”

She adds, the addition of this technology will mean MRI will be available Monday through Friday.  Washington  County Hospital and Clinics CEO Dennis Hunger says because of the generous donations to the Washington County Hospital Foundation, the hospital will have improved imaging services for the community.  The new MRI technology will be installed this summer.
