Tomorrow is the last day to submit applications for Washington County Pork Producers scholarships.  Erin Brenneman with the Pork Producers says they are offering a one thousand dollar scholarship to a student graduating this spring.  She says those who are eligible need to live in Washington County and have plans to enter an accredited program with a minimum completion time of two years.

Brenneman adds this scholarship is not restricted to those majoring in an agricultural field, but the student will have to explain how their career choice will relate to the pork industry.  Applications are due by tomorrow and need to be submitted to Erin Brenneman with the Washington County Pork Producers at 1976 155th Street, Wellman, IA  52356.
