The public is invited to a meeting tonight to talk about the future growth of Washington. Washington City Administrator Brent Hinson says the Washington Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee is holding this meeting for the public to hear and give input about the vision for the next 20 years in Washington.
He says cities will usually update their Comprehensive Plan every ten years and the last time the Plan was changed was in 1998.
The Comprehensive Plan update started in October of last year and the goal is to be competed with the Plan in June. This presentation will begin at 5:30 tonight in the Washington Public Library.
