Children and staff at St. James Catholic School had a special guest yesterday to wrap up Catholic Schools Week. Comedian Bruce Wehr, also known as Uncle Bruster, gave a presentation to the children a “Lesson in Laughter.” He says he will talk about volunteering, laughter or affirmation when he gives his performances.
Wehr says he started this ministry five years ago after being an electrician for almost 30 years.
Uncle Bruster incorporated some of the adults and children into his act by using special props and “presents” to convey his message.
Wehr lives in Davenport and entertains children and adults all over the Midwest. To find out more about Uncle Bruster, look at this link.
