There is an upcoming training session planned that will focus on emergency preparedness and response for public health emergencies.  Edie Nebel with Washington County Public Health says members of Washington County’s Local Emergency Planning Committee, hospital, and public health personnel are invited to this training.

Nebel says the topics like being personally prepared, food safety and ethics in disasters are part of Iowa Preparedness and Response Training Summit.  She says the conference will be in Des Moines in April.  For more information, contact Washington County Public Health.
