The Washington Chamber of Commerce’s Day at the Capitol is returning this year. Washington Chamber Executive Director Tim Coffey says they are taking a delegation of Chamber members to Des Moines on Tuesday, February 21st. He says the goal is to take individual concerns of the membership to Senator Greiner and Representative Klein.
Coffey says the last time they held this event it was well received by everyone who attended. The day will consist of meetings with local legislators, having a private lunch with legislative leaders, a tour of the Capitol and an opportunity to watch the House gaveled into session from the Gallery.
Coffey says if you would like to attend, you should contact the Washington Chamber of Commerce.
