The Washington County Board of Supervisors met yesterday morning and they heard the annual update from the Washington County Fair Board to start off the meeting. The fair board credited a good relationship with the ISU Extension and support from the County Supervisors for their success last year.

They approved a contract for bridge inspections for the next two years, and also approved a change in contract for the K-9 Officer at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The Supervisors gave updates about their weekly plans, and many of them discussed the potential gas tax increase that was discussed at the legislative briefing on Saturday.
