Two Washington County 4-H alumni are staying involved with the program through the use of donations.

Amy Green, 4-H/Youth Coordinator says 2010 Fair Queen Hayley Sieren and Kathy Ebert have donated items to the 4-H Gala auction taking place later this month.

Sieren has donated a quilted wall hanging called “High Tech Tucks” which was given an award during the 2007 Iowa State Fair.  Half of the proceeds from this design will be given to the Limecreek Limelights 4-H Club in Washington County.

Ebert along with her mother, Marie Hora has donated a painted and mounted outdoor “Garden Quilt” display.  The funds raised at the 4-H Gala and auction go toward the Iowa 4-H Foundation.  Look at this link for more information.
