A water main break has been reported in Wellman.  The break is located on 8th Avenue near 7th Street.  City officials say to avoid that area if at all possible.

So far, no boil order has been issued and water pressure is not reduced in the community.  It is too early to tell the cause of the break.  Parts have been ordered for repairs but not will arrive until tomorrow.  KCII will monitor the situation and bring you information as it becomes official.
