A weekend accident in Henry County has taken the life of a person from Burlington.  

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the driver of the 2004 Chevy Tahoe was traveling southbound on Highway 218 near Mt. Pleasant when they dropped off the west shoulder, over corrected and entered the west ditch.  The vehicle rolled and then came to rest on its top.

The driver, 62 year old Pamela Bradshaw of Burlington was injured and taken to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics and the passenger, 62 year old Robert Bradshaw, also of Burlington was transported to Henry County Health Center and pronounced dead.  Those responding to the scene were the Iowa State Patrol, Henry County Health Center Ambulance and U of I Air Care.
