Congressman Dave Loebsack announced yesterday that Farmer’s All Natural Creamery in Wellman will be receiving a $280,000 grant to offset the cost of launching a line of organic specialty cheeses. This grant is part of $593,000 in Rural Development Value Added Producer Grants to three agricultural producers in Southeastern Iowa. Loebsack says these grants are an effort to boost Iowa’s rural economies and promote job creation. The other companies to receive these grants are Schafer Fisheries and Mark and Leslie Hulsebus.
