As previously reported, there was a water main break in Wellman on Monday. The city has issued a boil advisory. They are advising residents to boil their water for 2 minutes before use. They recommend using the boiled water for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, and for pets. The boil order is expected to end by Friday.

The city has received the parts needed to repair the water main but even after repairs are completed, testing of the water needs to be done before the boil order is lifted. There is still no information on the cause of the break.
