Scholarships applications for upcoming college freshmen or current undergraduates at Iowa State University majoring in animal science or animal industry related field are due tomorrow for current undergraduates.  Amy Green with the Washington County Extension says the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement (IFAA) is making $97,000 available toward these scholarships.

IFAA is a non-profit organization comprised of agricultural enthusiasts dedicated to encouraging 4-H and FFA livestock, poultry and agricultural project members to pursue ag-related careers.  IFAA manages the annual Iowa State Fair “Sale of Champions” and the “Winner’s Circle” Scholarship and Awards program.

The deadline for current undergraduates is tomorrow and for incoming freshmen is May 1st.  To view last year’s winners and find out more information about the scholarships, look here.
