The Washington Chamber of Commerce Director has announced his future plans after leaving his position the end of the month.  Tim Coffey says he has been offered a position with the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce.  He says he didn’t think he would be the candidate selected for the position.

Coffey says he is familiar with the area having worked in Mason City in the past.  He says the Washington Chamber’s next step will be to conduct a search for a new director.

Coffey notes there should be minimal impact for any upcoming scheduled events.  Tim’s last day with the Washington Chamber will be March 30th and he starts his new post on April 16th.
