High school juniors applying for a college scholarship from the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library Association have until Saturday to submit those applications. Amy Green, Washington County 4-H/Youth Coordinator says the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award is a $5000 college scholarship program available for those attending any high school or home school program in Iowa.
Green says this Association honors up to 15 students who plan and accomplish a project of their own choosing and design. She notes students are not evaluated on the basis of grades, test scores or financial need.
This scholarship application deadline is Saturday and for more information contact the Washington County Extension office or by clicking here.
