A construction project is set to begin next week at the Washington County Courthouse.  Auditor Dan Widmer says this project will be fixing steps near the south entrance.  The project will include fixing bottom of these steps, recovering the step risers and replacing the current hand rail with an oak railing.

The cost is a little over $5600 and is being done by Custom Builders of Washington.  During the construction, visitors are to enter from the west side the courthouse from Avenue B.  The south entrance will reopen on Monday, April 2nd.
