Hospice of Washington County is celebrating a milestone this month with their 25th Annual Soup Supper and Silent Auction. The organization has held this event every year since 1994. This year the meal and activities will happen at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 28th. Those who attend the event will be treated to a meal featuring soup favorites, beverage and more. They are also encouraged to browse silent auction items and place a bid. If you would like to help Hospice by donating you can contribute a service, product or gift certificate for the silent auction, sponsor a soup roaster for $50, which covers the costs of making the soup for that roaster, or making any other contribution of your choice. Hospice of Washington County services residents in Washington, Henry, Jefferson, Johnson, Keokuk, Louisa and Muscatine counties. They are a non-profit providing care to those facing a life limiting illness.
