The City of Keota held its public hearing for the fiscal year 2013 budget yesterday, but there was no one from the public present at the hearing. City Clerk Niki Osweiler did not receive any written statements on the budget either.

The city council approved the budget unanimously.

Next week on Monday the council will have another meeting, and another public hearing.

This hearing will be discussing the urban revitalization plan and a proposed tax abatement.
